  • AGING EYE TIMES

Excellent information about anatomy, signs and symptoms of most problems that can affect the adult eye, with great graphics and videos. Extensive source listing for help with low vision.

It's easy to get lost in the detail, but the site has no noticeable commercial bias. Excellent place to start on research on cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma.

  • NATIONAL EYE INSTITUTE
    http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/eyediseases.html
Huge database on eye conditions, also resources on clinical trials, new treatments, also information in Spanish.
